All cottages are non-smoking.  Please enjoy your cigarette, pipe or cigar outside  A $75 cleaning charge will be incurred for smoking inside your cottage.

Renter understands that he/she is expected to leave the property in the condition it was in when they arrived.  This includes returning items to their proper place as well as keeping the outside premises clean and free of litter (including cigarette butts).

Renter understands that Carol's Cozy Cottages has the right to charge for any damages in excess of normal wear and tear to the extent of the cost of repairs or replacement of missing items.

The grounds of Carol's Cozy Cottages are for use by registered lodging guests only.  When checking in, you will need to specify the number of persons in your party.  This number cannot exceed the accommodation limits specified in the chart on the "Rates" page.

Please be considerate of others and observe quiet hours.

The septic systems at Carol's Cozy Cottages are sensitive.  As a result, we ask that you use toilet paper that is specifically identified as safe for septic systems and that you use it sparingly.

There is plenty of clean, fresh water available for drinking, cooking, bathing, etc., but because of the sensitive septic systems, we ask that you restrict the amounts of water used inside the cottage as much as you possibly can.  We would appreciate your cooperation in this regard.

For children's safety, they are to be supervised at all times.

Diving is not permitted off the dock or swim platform.

No electrical hookups of any kind are allowed (i.e., campers, trailers, etc.).

There are no garbage disposals, so please don't put garbage of any kind down the sink.

Grease must be put in sealed containers and disposed of with the trash; never dumped outside or down the drain.

Trash is to be put in garbage bags then tossed into the dumpster across the street.  Dumpster space is limited, so please help keep the volume of trash down.

A violation of any of the terms and conditions listed above without signed authorization from Carol's Cozy Cottages may result in the renter being asked to vacate the premises without refund.

Carol's Cozy Cottages is not liable for personal injuries of any kind.  Any unsafe or dangerous condition must be reported to us immediately.

Renter agrees to hold Carol's Cozy Cottages harmless for any and all loss of or damage to your personal property, personal injury or death resulting from the use of the rental property, grounds, swim platform, diving board, and/or boat dock.

If you bring or rent a boat or other recreational vehicle, we are not liable for injuries, damage or theft.  Operation or parking of recreational vehicles between cottages is not allowed.

We, at Carol's Cozy Cottages, strive to keep everything in our cottages working properly.  However, occasionally we do have breakdowns and equipment malfunctions.  In the event that something like this should occur during your stay, we will do our best to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.  Nonetheless, we do not offer any sort of refund or compensation for equipment failures or malfunctions, including cable TV malfunctions.

Sometimes in the mountains we experience power outages.  Since wells require electricity to operate, if the power goes out during your stay, you will not have water until the power is restored.  Carol's Cozy Cottages does not refund or compensate for power outages or other acts of nature.

Carol's Cozy Cottages reserves the right to revise its terms, conditions and/or policies at any time.
